The Spirits of Gilbride are five siblings
who have been performing together for 14 years, singing and playing
piano, violin, harp, accordion, bagpipes, bass and whistle. The
group started out playing at hospitals and rehab centers after one
of the group members survived being run over by a drunk driver. From
there they branched out doing concerts for charities, such as the
March of Dimes and the American Cancer Society. The Spirits have
played at the White House, Walt Disney World, Radio City, Yankee
Stadium, and many other venues. The quintet has also been in concert
with the Chieftains, Hanson, Harlem Boys Choir, Enrique Iglesias,
Gloria Gaynor, Black 47, S Club 7, and the A-Teens.
Corina Brouder, one of the group members, is
also a solo artist. She was the vocalist on John Barry’s musical
score for the film, “Swept from the Sea.” Corina has also recorded
with Johan Brunkvist and Joe Hogue.
